Global Gas is a reliable propane supplier based in Englewood, CO. Our business began in December, 1989, during one of the industry’s worst propane supply crisis, which was experienced again in 2008 and 2014. Record-low temperatures, along with low inventories and lack of transportation, left many retailers without propane. Global Gas did whatever it took to get each customer product, transporting propane from as far away as Kansas and Texas up to the Northeast. After more than 35 years, we continue to do whatever it takes to supply our customers year-round, with the propane they need, when they need it.
DD is the third generation of her family to be involved in the propane industry. After working in her father’s retail propane business for 8 years, she started Global Gas in 1989 to provide a supply of propane to independent propane retailers in the Northeast. DD received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Christian University (TCU). Currently, she is President of the TCU Neeley School of Business and a member of the TCU Clark Society. DD is also very engaged with NPGA and Regional Associations. In June of 2023, DD was sworn in as an officer of NPGA, currently holding the office of Treasurer. DD is past Chair and current member of the NPGA Propane Supply and Logistics Committee, Director of the Wholesale and Producers Section, and past Chair and current member of the Member Services Committee. DD is also the past Chair of the PGANE Supply Committee.
DD has been named a 40 under 40 by the Denver Business Journal, EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, Largest Woman owned Business, and Largest 500 Female Companies in the US.
DD is also a member of the NPGA Supply and Infrastructure Task Force, which provided recommendations to avoid the pitfalls experienced during the 2013-2014 winter season. With more than 40 years of experience in supply and logistics, trading, and retail and wholesale operations, DD can advise you on your supply strategy and provide assistance in the many aspects of your business.
Jim serves as the Vice President of Operations, handling all propane logistics for the company. He is responsible for getting our customers’ propane sourced and delivered to them when they need it. In addition, he also manages the inside operations. Prior to coming to Global Gas, Jim worked for Global Gas’ sister company, Global Propane, as the manager of retail operations in Kansas and Wyoming.
Having served in this role, he knows how critical our customers’ supply of propane is to the success of their business. Jim is deeply committed to providing the best in customer service. With more than 18 years of experience in operations, Jim knows just what that means at the retail level.
Global Gas announces Connor Alexander has rejoined the company after completing his MBA at Texas Christian University. Connor will be located on the east coast assuming the role of Manager of Business Development. Connor is the fourth generation of his family to be involved in the propane industry.
Connor is active in the National Propane Gas Association being on the Board of Directors, along with being a current member of both the Member Services Committee and the Propane Supply and Logistics Committee. Connor will be calling on marketers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Connor is an active member of the PA, PPA, PGANE, NY, Mid Atlantic, NJ and NPGA.
Global Gas has announced that Trae Boese will be assuming the role of Manager of Northeast Sales. Trae has been with Global Gas since June of 2017 and served in their accounting department before becoming a sales representative in the Northeast. Prior to joining Global Gas full time, Trae interned with the company during his senior year of college.
Trae graduated from Ottawa University in Ottawa, KS., where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration in 2017. Trae was an inaugural member of the Propane Industry’s 30 under 30 program.
